The Civil Service is now recruiting for Graduate Policy Analysts / Economists at
Administrative Officer level with relevant qualifications to undertake national policy
development roles in the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES).
IGEES is the cross-government network of economists & policy analysts supporting better
policy formulation and implementation in the Civil Service through policy analysis and
evaluation.
This is an exciting opportunity for those embarking on their professional careers to bring the
tools and techniques of economic and policy analysis to support evidence-informed
policymaking, in order to deliver better public services and improve outcomes for citizens.
Successful candidates will contribute to national policy development across a wide range of
areas, and use data and economic tools and techniques to conduct policy analysis and
evaluation.
Currently a number of vacancies exist for this position. Such vacancies may be in one of
many Government Departments/Offices, or in an ‘agency’ of a Government Department.
