Founded in 2016, African Professional Network of Ireland (APNI) is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers that aims to build a vibrant community that fosters connection, empowerment and collaboration between professionals of African decent and Afro-Irish.

To empower professionals and entrepreneurs of African descent with resources needed to maximise their potential and be valuable individuals in their workplace and communities, while becoming a trusted partner to corporate organisations and public institutions in executing social impact, diversity and inclusion strategies to grow representation of African professionals.

Benedicte Akambu is a Senior Process Executive, Model and Vibes Curator at APNI. She has been a part of the APNI community since 2012. I joined the APNI committee in February as the Vibes Curator. What I do essentially is, I capture memorable moments and vibes at events. Essentially, I am responsible taking recaps and give people that “FOMO” feeling for missing out on the amazing events that APNI puts together throughout the year
