SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and innovative e-commerce company, is looking for a Copywriting Intern to work with us virtually this summer! This individual will gain hands-on experience coming up with creative solutions to real-world business problems with our Integrated Marketing Team!
This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
This position may require travel to our NY office headquarters up to two times during the program for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

Length of Program: Monday, June 3rd, through Friday, August 9th
Internship On-Site Meeting: Thursday, July 25th (required)
Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday â Friday, 8:00 a.m. â 5:00 p.m. EST. However, there is some flexibility as per our Flex-Time Policy.
Salary: $20.00/hour
The Day to Day:
- Work closely with a seasoned team Copywriter to deliver original, compelling, and engaging copy on time
- Create fresh and engaging messaging for advertising, video scripts, product pages, email campaigns, social media campaigns, and more
- Analyze project briefs to understand the products/services, goals, and desires, then effectively incorporate them into the copy
- Employ SEO strategies in your writing
- Understand different target audiences to ensure that the style, tone of voice, and copy meet the projectâs requirements
- Manage multiple projects at once while staying on top of deadlines
- Maintain company brand guidelines and copy standards
- Proofread all communications developed by the creative team and ensure information accuracy
- Keep a positive, supportive attitude when working with team members and approach every obstacle with a fresh perspective
- All other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements:
- Working towards a Bachelorâs degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Passion for all things creative and an interest in advertising
- A strong desire to learn industry best practices
- Natural curiosity and solid research skills
- Excellent understanding of grammar, usage, and mechanics coupled with a keen eye for detail
- A sense of responsibility and organization
- Ability to collaborate, concept, write, edit, and present
- Capacity to listen to, process, and resolve feedback with a can-do attitude
- Open-mindedness, positive thinking, and enthusiasm
- Knowledge of SEO and copywriting strategies (preferred)
