The Regulatory Compliance & Sustainability Lead is a senior, strategic role within Bank of Ireland’s Group Procurement & Partner Management team, specifically in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). This role is responsible for ensuring that all third-party engagements comply with Irish and EU regulatory requirements and align with the Bank’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) commitments.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy & Governance: Develop and execute the TPRM strategy and roadmap; maintain governance frameworks aligned with risk appetite and regulations.
Regulatory & ESG Integration: Horizon scan for regulatory changes; integrate ESG criteria into third-party onboarding, due diligence, and monitoring; ensure vendors meet sustainability and ethical sourcing standards.
Operational Excellence: Update policies, embed procedures, provide training, lead regulatory inspections, and manage submissions to authorities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across Legal, IT Security, Business Units, and 2LOD/3LOD colleagues.
Leadership & Team Development: Coach and manage team performance; build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
This role is permanent, full-time, and hybrid, with the primary office location in Dublin (travel required for in-person collaboration).
