The Portfolio Planner is a senior professional role within the Portfolio Planning Unit of the Estate Management Division of the Office of Public Works (OPW). Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Planning, the post holder works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate, analyse, and quantify the property and accommodation needs of Government Departments and Agencies.

The role involves strategic portfolio planning, supporting evidence-based decision-making on the management and development of the State’s property assets. The Portfolio Planner contributes to the effective use, optimisation, and long-term planning of the Government estate, aligning property solutions with public service requirements.

This is a permanent, full-time civil service position at Assistant Principal Officer (AP) level, based in Dublin.
