The Mortgage Specialist is a customer-facing role within Bank of Ireland’s Direct Mortgages team, responsible for supporting customers through the mortgage application process, achieving sales targets, and promoting a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls related to mortgages.

• Supporting customers in achieving their goal of home ownership.

• Identifying business opportunities and contributing to mortgage sales targets.

• Building relationships and networks with underwriters, operational teams, product development, branch staff, and other colleagues to drive channel integration.

• Ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Working collaboratively with the team and adapting quickly in a changing environment.

The role is permanent, full-time, and hybrid, based primarily in Dublin or Kilkenny.
