Square is seeking high-energy, motivated individuals to join their Sales Development organization. This is an entry-level sales role focused on prospecting new merchants, promoting Square’s products and services, and generating qualified leads for Account Executives.
Key responsibilities:
Source potential merchants that fit Square’s ideal customer profile.
Manage a pipeline of businesses, prioritizing outreach to accelerate sales cycles.
Conduct outbound sales via cold calling, email, and social selling.
Understand merchant needs and promote Square solutions tailored to those needs.
Collaborate with Account Executives to refine prospecting strategies.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
Grow skills through mentorship and developmental opportunities within the Sales team.
Required experience and qualifications:
3–6+ months of sales experience, including internships or entry-level roles.
Enthusiasm for developing sales skills, especially in cold calling and outbound prospecting.
Alignment with the Sales Team’s values: personal leadership, authenticity, teamwork, curiosity, and energy.
Desire to build a career in sales.
