Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to raise awareness of IDA Ireland by amplifying our message across social channels while also managing leads from active paid campaigns.

Key Tasks:

  • Executing IDA Ireland’s organic Social Media Strategy

  • Acting as a social media brand guardian – protecting IDA Ireland’s online reputation, ensuring consistency of voice and working with the Communications team to resolve issues online

  • Developing and managing a content plan for IDA’s social media channels – Linkedin/X/YouTube

  • Working with Marketing Manager to proactively maximise IDA Ireland visibility around Saint Patrick’s Day; significant client announcements; annual results; mid-year results; annual conference

  • Working with IDA Ireland CEO’s office and Executive to create and amplify content from client meetings, overseas investment missions, conference appearances, press appearances

  • Ensuring social media best-practice amongst IDA Ireland team members – running workshops and amending policy where necessary

  • Work with marketing manager to execute targeted campaigns on our main social channels

  • Work with Operations Departments to develop content journeys to support ABM campaigns for specific sectors

  • Run ABM campaigns in collaboration with Operations Departments, utilising their targets and nurturing through the funnel

  • Track performance of ABM campaigns on Salesforce ensuring live prospects are acted upon by Overseas and Project Execs

  • To undertake continuous learning and development through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.

  • To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks that can arise or are assigned to this role.

  • Ensure that IDA’s values of People, Professionalism, Passion for Performance and Public Service are always upheld.

Additional Requirements

  • A relevant Level 8 third level business/sector related degree recognised on the National Qualification Framework is essential;

  • Ability to work well under pressure, flexibly as a member of a team and independently on own initiative in terms of time worked and tasks undertaken;

  • This role may require international & domestic travel and flexible working hours;

  • Experience in the area of social media/digital marketing is essential;

  • A full driving licence is desirable;

  • Ongoing flexibility and interest in international career progression and development is required, including an interest in gaining overseas experience with IDA.
