What is the opportunity?
The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team is a small but crucial team in GIS. This role will be an integral part of that team operating at pace, supported by multiple industry recognised threat partners, to continuously monitor the threat landscape and undertake timely analysis and actionable reporting of tactical, operational and strategic cyber / cyber relevant geopolitical threats relevant to the Group. These intelligence products are critical to enabling effective decision making to prioritise and undertake corrective actions to proactively protect Group information and systems!
In this role, you will:
- Support and implement the enhancement of existing cyber threat intelligence processes and products, and development and implementation of new products
- Triage, processing and analysis of threat information and communication of intelligence to appropriate partners in an effective, actionable and timely manner
- Establish and foster effective relationships within GIS, the wider Group and the cyber threat communities the Group is a member of
- In conjunction with the wider cyber intelligence team, maintain the Group's strategic and operational cyber threat intelligence products
What will make you stand out?
Demonstrated ability as a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst or Lead, with proven enterprise experience in tactical and operational intelligence and intelligence products development and delivery
Ability to develop a mental model of, and navigate, an enterprise organisation with a high degree of autonomy and to connect with partners of varying levels and technical proficiency
Demonstrable understanding and practical experience in the application of standard threat intelligence methods and techniques such as Analysis of Competing Hypothesis and Diamond Model
Proficient in the processing of threat information efficiently using Excel / Python / PowerShell etc.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- CREST Certified Threat Intelligence Manager (CCTIM), or equivalent, or dedication to acquire within 12 months
- Demonstrable experience as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst or Team Lead
- Experience in maintaining quantitative Cyber Threat Profiles, threat models and delivery of strategic cyber threat intelligence products (including cyber relevant GeoPol)
- Experience working with a SOC to embed a balanced mechanism to maintain a view of the cyber threat adversaries relevant to an organisation
- Experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms and their implementation
Essential Qualifications
- Honours Degree or equivalent experience" in Computer Science
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst (CRTIA)
- Equivalents of the above are also accepted
