What is the opportunity?
Join our dynamic operational risk team that is leading the way in establishing an effective second line of defence (2LOD)for the Bank! This is an outstanding opportunity to view the Bank through a coordinated lens. You will work closely with partners across the Group to provide 'Independent Insight and Opinion' of Information Security & Cyber risks.
The Information Security & Cyber Risk Manager plays a key role in enabling the team to deliver effective 2LOD oversight and challenge in the Groups management of IS & Cyber Risk.
In this role, you will:
Complete effective research and analysis for risk and compliance assignments example: use of RADAR /Gap Analyses), Develop and supervise the implementation of IS & Cyber Risk Frameworks & Policies.
Contributing to the risk assessment process, identifying the underlying issues and root cause of problems, identifying and advancing key risks in a timely manner. Draft high quality reports and/or MI
Crucial Experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and detail the rationale or recommendations and decisions

Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Work proactively with team members to achieve the strategic ambitions of Group Operational Risk and the wider Group

Understanding of the principles and practice of risk management;

Knowledge of the three lines of defence, specifically the role of 2LoD and Operational Risk in this model;
What will make you stand out?
Strong organisational and process adherence skills along with strong IT skills including Microsoft products e.g. Word, Excel.
The ability to work within a team and collaboratively with colleagues and various partners, flexible with a positive attitude to change.
You have demonstrable curiosity about the topic of Information Security and Cyber Security, and are proficient in relation to relevant regulations, relevant to your risk specialism.
Your understanding of relevant internal policies, frameworks and methodologies e.g. Business Control Framework/RCSA will make you stand out!
Ability to see opportunities for operational improvement and support to agile ways of working will gve you an advantage.
