What is the opportunity
As the Project Manager you will plan, create and deliver the Collections & Recoveries Programme. You'll get the chance to work with a team of hardworking IT and Business programme and SME resources who'll work together to deliver business outcomes through this transformational programme.
You'll have responsibility for handling budget, reporting, programme dependencies and interlocks plus supplier engagement.
In this role you will:
- Leadership of workstreams to ensure the transformation programme is delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality
- Handle and support the design of implementable solutions for critical programme components related to Collections and Recoveries associated with the programme
- Manage a delivery team of subject matter authorities, Business & Data Analysts
- Lead multiple workstreams and priorities to plan, on time, on budget and to a high quality
- Work closely with internal partners to collaboratively progress key targets
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may arise during the process, making data-driven decisions to maintain programme momentum
- Manage the implementation of every workstream deliverable through robust business readiness, tailored to the needs of each action
- Ensure the alignment of delivery across the delivery chain with dependencies on internal and external resources
- Develop strong relationships with the delivery team driving collaboration and agility
- Maintain detailed project plans, tracking delivery and key achievements confirming successful delivery of each workstream deliverable including a period of embedment
- Manage and maintain programme key performance indicators (KPI's) and establish communications, including reporting and updates for senior managers, Steering Committee and other governance fora as required
- Evaluate the outcomes and benefits of programme, making recommendations for adjustments or scaling based on results

- Strong knowledge and experience of change programmes delivering best practices across Consumer Finance including retail banking, secured lending, and small and medium enterprise businesses
- Proficient in project management principles and tools
- Outcome and results focused with a consistent track record of execution
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscape, requirements, and PRA and FCA expectations of a UK bank
- Lead as a subject matter authority of collections and recoveries to enhance and strengthen the control/risk environment
- Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data to inform key decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present to senior partners
