Job summary
The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC) is now looking for a suitably qualified and committed individual to join the Anti-Human Trafficking Policy Unit to support effective and expert delivery of IHREC’s National Rapporteur function in line with IHREC’s Strategy Statement and the Irish Human Rights and Equality Act 2014 (as amended).
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting IHREC to deliver high quality, evidence-based reporting, policy and legislative analysis together with other outreach and engagement activities that meet the highest standards and are presented in a way that achieves impact and influence.

Information about the organisation
IHREC is Ireland’s national human rights and equality body. IHREC was designated as Ireland’s Independent National Rapporteur on the Trafficking of Human Beings in 2020. The main work areas as National Rapporteur are to assess human trafficking trends, measure results of anti-trafficking actions, gather data, including in cooperation with civil society organisations, and report on these findings.
