Join our dynamic Actuarial Reporting team as a Senior Modelling Manager, where you'll lead the development and maintenance of cutting-edge actuarial models and systems. You'll play a key role in our strategic change programme, optimizing reporting processes and implementing new technologies to boost efficiency and compliance. This position ensures a smooth transition from project implementation to business-as-usual, maintaining the integrity of our actuarial and finance reporting platforms.
This role is based in our Dublin office and adheres to Aviva's hybrid working policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing the Actuarial Change Programme, ensuring all developments are efficient and compliant with regulations.
Contribute to evaluating the current actuarial reporting platform and integrating new technologies and best practices.
Support the successful execution of the Actuarial Change Programme, collaborating closely with the Steering Committee and key stakeholders.
Facilitate the transition to business-as-usual operations, maintaining and enhancing actuarial reporting models and systems.
Ensure efficient processes and controls, manage audit relationships, and align with financial management standards to accelerate reporting timelines.
About you:
Experience supporting strategic change programmes and communicating complex issues to senior management.
Extensive experience with model development and actuarial systems (e.g., Prophet, SQL, Python).
Knowledge of actuarial principles and methodologies, including Solvency II and IFRS17.
Proficiency in producing management-level reports and presentations.
Understanding of life and pensions products, including unit-linked, with-profits, and term insurance.
Ability to coach and mentor, with strong communication skills and a delivery-focused attitude.
